On Wednesday November 9 the winners of our in-house ‘Colleague/Customer Care Incentive’ were announced at the Four Sons Inn, Brighouse.

The ABS ‘Colleague/Customer Care Incentive’ is an annual employee recognition programme where staff are encouraged to nominate colleagues who have gone out of their way to help each other achieve their goals. The best examples were chosen by a panel and rewarded with points, as well as monthly, monetary incentives which totalled £1,800.

Over a nine month period points were totalled up and the winners, from left to right, were (as pictured with Paul, Director on far right): David (sales & marketing), Chris (accounts & administration), Dan (warehouse & installations), Jonathan Murphy (technical).

The winners shared £3,700.00 worth of holiday vouchers. As part of the scheme the winners are also expected to spend three days volunteering with the ABS Foundations nominated charity or a charity of their choice in 2017.

Company accountant, Chris commented on his win and the incentive:

“I’m pleased that the colleagues who voted for me recognise my commitment to the business. We are a great team as shown by everyone in the department winning at least one of the monthly awards. ABS are a great company to work for and incentives like this really help to promote that.”

The next incentive will start in February 2017
